of prescribed medicines are not taken exactly as prescribed — which can put your health at risk.
Getting advice early on a new medicine is one of the simplest ways to avoid problems down the line.
What is the New Medicine Service?
Extra support when you start something new
Taking your medication the right way matters. Almost half of prescribed medicines aren’t taken exactly as advised, which can increase the risk of avoidable health complications.
Our New Medicine Service provides dedicated support when you’ve recently started a new long-term medicine. We’ll make sure you have the information you need, answer any questions or concerns, and check back in to see how you’re getting on.
